After growing up in sunny Florida, Lindsey moved to Pittsburgh, PA to attend law school. Following graduation, she served as a judicial law clerk for two years to the Honorable Daniel L. Leland, District Chief Judge (retired) of the U.S. Department of Labor, Office of Administrative Law Judges in Pittsburgh. She then spent over 12 years handling federal black lung claims from inception through the appellate process.
Deciding she needed a change, in 2017 Lindsey started working in the appellate section of OBD. She uses her background in administrative proceedings to assist individuals with their Social Security disability claims.
